Misty Cove’s Landmark Sauvignon Gris is deeply influenced by old world winemaking techniques. Lovingly handcrafted in small batch quantities, we crafted this wine to reflect the “Landmark” – the attributes and characteristics of the Rapaura, Selmes Road vineyard from which it originated.
Hand harvested, 50% crushed then left 6 hours on skins. Gently pressed to keep only free-run juice. Fermented to 17°C to enhance mouthfeel. Other 50% whole bunch pressed, cold ferment to retain fruit and then blended.
Spicy, voluptuous and exuding the spirit of the sunny Marlborough wine region, our Landmark Sauvignon Gris has notes of crushed lemon leaf and thyme that will captivate. Pairs perfectly with lively company and great food.
